Environment
The PTE Financial Solutions applications are designed to grow
with your changing needs—and they’re compatible with a wide variety
of desktop operating systems, network servers and LAN/WAN environments. Fiserv
offers true 32-bit versions of PTE for both NetWare® and Windows
2000/2003 Server®. This results in extended addressability, flat
address space and preemptive multi-tasking capabilities, as well as increased
throughput.
Database Dependability
PTE Financial Soutions applications are based upon Pervasive’s Transactional Engine because it
is proven and dependable. All PTE databases are open in design, allowing you
to access data with a variety of desktop reporting tools. PTE Financial Solutions protects
your data with multi-level, user-specific security.

Pervasive Database ENGINE only.
*** This is an estimate based on potential data growth. Fiserv can provide
a worksheet to help you calculate the additional disk space required for your
company’s data.
**** If using a Novell server, the drive partitions that house the PTE Financial application and/or data need to be Traditional partitions. The system partition
which houses Pervasive can be an NSS partition if so desired.

Fiserv Insurance Solutions has developed PTE Financial for Intel based
platforms running Windows 2000/2003 and NetWare.
This is the minimum configuration for your network operating system
based on the above software requirements. Optional components including, but
not limited to, other database drivers, printer drivers, additional applications,
number of users, and other network activity may require additional disk space
and/or memory.
